The Whitehorse Inn

'The White Horse Inn' was performed at the Whitehorse Centre in May / June 1998.

On behalf of the direction team Chris White (Co-Director) wrote "One of the reasons for the popularity of musicals such as "White Horse Inn' lies in the very predictability of its story line and musical style.  The happy mix of human fallibility, shown through romance and the adventure of life itself in the idyllic setting of a far away place, combined with memorable melodies, half-remembered and anticipated, results in total enjoyment.   It is entertainment which is satisfying, yet not demanding of interpretation.  Although arguably unrealistic and stereotypical, it confirms our belief in the importance of not taking the world too seriously."
