Tarantara, Tarantara
Tarantara, Tarantara was BMT's second production for 2005. The production told the story of the collaboration of Gilbert & Sullivan. It included their association with D'Oyly Carte, their mounting success, their divergencies of temperament, their conflicting ambitions, and their disruptive obsessions. Many musical numbers from all of their well-known operetta were threaded into the story and the entire cast, including Carte, Gilbert and Sullivan, and the full Babirra ensemble and orchestra, which partons have come the love and admire, were featured. Tarantara, Tarantara provided a night of the very best of Gilbert & Sullivan.
