Naughty Marietta
'Naughty Marietta' was performed at the Whitehorse Centre from the 28th May - 12th of June 1999. This operetta was first performed in New York in 1910 and was made into a very successful MGM film starring Nelson Eddy and Jeanette McDonald in 1935. Apart from wonderful performances by principle and ensemble casts in Babirra's production of 'Naughty Marietta' audiences enjoyed the three marionettes created by John Bissett, a retired Art/Craft Lecturer and Puppeteer, that were so vividly brought to life by our Puppeteers, Laura, Daniel and Rachel.
